Always wanted to build an iPhone app? Curious how anyone can use AI to build software products? Well here's your chance to do both! This course combines learning app development and programming fundamentals while using agentic AI to extend learning and rapidly create robust iOS apps. By the end of the course you will have created multli-user apps that can share data and images stored in the cloud. You'll learn to use AI to extend fundamentals, implement solid software design and development principles, conform to accessibility standards, and to help you learn new techniques, all as we progress building a series of apps. The course is "flipped", so students learn at their own pace by following code-along weekly videos. Our required weekly class meetings feature hands-on challenges to make sure everyone is able to use lesson concepts. Past students have called this one of the most rewarding if at times challenging courses they've taken. The additional of AI now makes the class more accessible and lets us accomplish lots more in less time.
