Who can post
Posting a review requires a verified @bc.edu email address. You may post about a course or instructor you actually took or had. One review per instructor per course; posting again replaces your previous review rather than adding a second one.
What you may not post
No content that is false, defamatory, harassing, or that targets an instructor's protected characteristics, personal life, appearance, or family. No contact details, no content copied from elsewhere, and nothing that identifies another student. Reviews should be about teaching and coursework.
Moderation and removal
Carney Curve may remove any review, at any time, without notice. Instructors and students may request removal of content about them, and requests will be reviewed. Removal is not an admission that the content was accurate or inaccurate.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you write. You grant Carney Curve a non-exclusive licence to display it on this site. Your email address is verified but never published, and is not retained once verification completes.
No warranty
Carney Curve is a volunteer student project provided as-is, with no guarantee of accuracy, availability, or continued operation. Evaluation figures are reproduced from published Boston College course evaluations; student reviews are opinions of the people who wrote them. Nothing here is an official university publication, and this project is not affiliated with Boston College.
Changes
These terms are versioned by date. The current version is 2026-08-30. When they change, the version changes, and you will be asked to accept the new version before posting again.
