This course will only be offered during the summer session. This course provides an introduction to the properties and applications of organic molecules and reactions. An understanding of the relationship between molecular structure and function with an emphasis on mechanistic principles is emphasized. This course is intended for students with an interest in scienceor medicine.Pre-requisite: Students who take this course should have passed an Organic Chemistry I course similar to CHEM2011.
