Learners apply principles of physiology and pathophysiologic processes to develop diagnostic reasoning skills. Learners differentiate normal physiology from disease-driven pathophysiology in common disease states. Synthesizing subjective and objective data in case studies, learners develop differential diagnoses that inform the diagnostic process. Learners develop analytical skills necessary to interpret complex clinical signs and translate them into precise, actionable diagnostic strategies.
